The Seven cheek is made with stainless steel and trimmed with German Silver for a beautiful, classic look. It has a 4.5 shank, a 3 purchase, and stainless steel bit rings. This cheek provides a quicker pull on a horse's mouth and is excellent for horses that try to lip the bit.

 

8" Calvary Cheek Professional Series

9th bit in the BitLogic bitting system. A step up in leverage and control from the 7-1/2" style. The 8" Calvary Cheek with 1"x 1 3/4" correction applies increased pressure to the palate, tongue (with increased pressure to the sides of the tongue), chin, bars, and the corners of the mouth. This bit is not typically used in extended training sessions, but often used to school a horse that needs a firmer reminder to respond and collect. It is also used in competition on older or less responsive horses. This is not a bit for lateral flexing excercises, but works well as a stopping or collection tool.

Robart Spring Loaded Correction Mouth Bit   

New bit design eliminates pinched tongues and cheeks, reducing tension. Internal bushing allows either half of the bit to rotate independently of the other. Each side of the horse can be worked separately as in lifting a shoulder or flexing exercises. Mouths stay closed and calm, horses can concentrate on learning or performing. Spring loaded correction mouth provides great direct contact. Mouth goes solid for the "whoa". Copper inlaid stainless steel 5" mouth with 8.5" shank.
